Billance is the e-invoice software for Linux: create XRechnung and ZUGFeRD locally, convert PDF invoices and validate automatically against EN 16931 and GoBD. As a portable AppImage, Billance runs without complex installation on most distributions — fully offline and privacy-friendly.
System requirements for Linux
Billance is provided as an AppImage for x64 and ARM64 architectures and runs on common distributions such as Ubuntu 20.04+ or Fedora 35+. We recommend at least 4 GB of RAM and around 500 MB of free disk space. Optionally, you can install Billance via the Snap Store or Flathub.
Installing on Linux
Make the downloaded file executable with chmod +x Billance*.AppImage, launch it with a double-click and confirm execution. You can then create your first e-invoice — without root privileges and without an internet connection.
