Download the installer for Windows, macOS, or Linux directly from our download page. Run the setup file and follow the instructions of the installation wizard. Once installed, you can start using the application immediately.
Simply click on 'Forgot Password' on the login screen. Enter your registered email address, and we will send you a secure link to reset your password and restore access to your account.
Open your profile within the app or on the website and go to the 'Subscription' tab. You have full control at all times: You can view your current plan, access billing details, or cancel your subscription with one click effective at the end of the billing period.
Invoice and customer data is stored locally and encrypted on your device by default, while account data is stored on our servers. Only when you enable optional online features such as Billance AI or cloud sync is the data required for that feature processed by the respective service.
Drag and drop an existing PDF invoice into Billance and choose local template detection or optional AI detection. Review and complete the recognized data, then export an XRechnung or ZUGFeRD file and run formal validation.
Core functions for creating e-invoices, editing, and formal validation run locally on your computer. An internet connection is required for sign-in, license checks, updates, and optional AI or cloud features.
Billance supports XRechnung and ZUGFeRD profiles based on the European EN 16931 standard. Guided required fields and formal validation help you prepare documents for Germany's e-invoicing mandate; content and tax review remain your business's responsibility.
Billance uses a flexible 'Bring Your Own Cloud' approach. You can use your own encrypted cloud storage (like iCloud, OneDrive, Dropbox, or WebDAV) to securely sync the local database file between multiple supported devices.
