Credits for AI pages
What credits are, how to buy them and in which order the Premium allowance and credits are used in the AI converter.
Credits are a prepaid balance for the AI features of Billance. One credit equals one page analysed by Billance AI – a three-page PDF therefore uses three credits.
Buying credits
You buy credits with your Billance account on the API & more page or directly in your profile via Buy more in the account information. There are packs of 100, 250 and 1,000 credits; the bigger the pack, the cheaper each credit.
- One-time payment, no subscription and nothing to cancel
- Credits never expire
- Every purchase comes with an invoice that you find in your profile among your invoices
- You can enter a VAT ID in the checkout
Order of consumption
With Billance Premium, every AI analysis first uses the 20 included AI pages of the current calendar month. Only once they are used up does Billance deduct purchased credits. The monthly allowance restarts at the beginning of each month; credits simply stay.
Without Premium there is no monthly allowance – with credits you still use Billance AI.
If something goes wrong
The pages needed for a running analysis are briefly reserved. If the analysis fails, the reservation is released again; no pages and no credits are deducted.
Checking your balance
Your available balance is shown in your profile under Account information in the Credits row.
Withdrawal
As a consumer you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. The details are in the withdrawal policy.
