Converter templates describe where Billance should look for data such as number, date, seller, recipient, payment details, line items, and totals in recurring invoice formats.
Create a template
Choose a clear name and use a typical reference document. Then select a field type and mark its matching region in the document. The closer the regions match the actual layout, the more reliable local recognition becomes.

Reference and editing in the desktop app
PDF, DOCX, ODT, XLSX, and XLSM are supported as references. In the editor, you can switch between Draw region and Select text. The preview supports page navigation, zoom, replacing the reference document, and removing incorrect assignments.
Manage templates
From the overview, you can search, open, edit, and delete templates. Adjust a template or create a new one when text blocks, tables, addresses, or totals move in the source document. Several focused templates for different layouts are more reliable than one overly broad template.
Premium
Converter templates remain stored after a downgrade. Local conversion itself is a Premium feature and resumes only when Premium access is active again.
